To recalculate design costs

Bentley OpenUtilities Designer Recalculate Cost feature allows you to update the costs for design components whenever the cost properties for assigned units and materials have changed. This situation occurs periodically when unit libraries are revised in the work management system and reloaded into Bentley OpenUtilities Designer.

Design costs are recalculated with the Recalculate Cost command on the Tools menu of the Design Assistant.

1. Open the design in the Design Assistant.
2. From the Tools menu, select Recalculate Cost.
